The growing ACT team supports Amazon Associates who need temporary light duty work due to physical restrictions. We find alternative light duty jobs at local non-profit and charitable organizations within our local communities.
ACT is seeking an exceptionally dependable, resourceful, and self-motivated Amazon Community Together Safety Liaison (SL). The SL, in partnership with the Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) team, will develop robust safety standards, protocols, and business continuity plans for the program. You will also engage with vendors, the Workers’ Compensation (WC) team, Risk Management, and Human Resources (HR) teams to ensure the highest customer experience is maintained. Attention to detail, ability to respond effectively to changing workloads and priorities, and staying organized are critical skills. A sense of curiosity, and a desire to work with a smart and diverse group of people will make you an excellent addition to our team. Job duties may include but are not limited to:
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Develop Safety standards and protocols for ACT program in partnership with WHS
· Create and maintain business continuity plan
· Review, revise, and maintain nonprofit vetting procedure
· Serve as an escalation point for offsite incidents
· Develop tracking, reporting, and metrics for ACT related incidents
· Maintain data integrity in internal systems
· Track and help drive completion of key deliverables
· Collaborate closely with departmental peers
· Lead program-wide projects
· Develop and implement process improvement
· Additional tasks as needed that may pertain to WC, HR, Safety teams and vendors
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Qualifications
· Master’s Degree from an accredited university
· Experience working with nonprofits
· Ability to prioritize and react with appropriate levels of urgency to multiple situations, requests and events, and adapt to changing workload using consistently great judgement
· Has effectively managed a high volume of work and performed efficiently
· Exceptional verbal and interpersonal communication skills
· High focus on detail when dealing with legal documentation with strict confidentiality. Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment and ability to be flexible when needed
· Able to work independently with minimal supervision, seeks answers when help is needed or additional tasks for completion. Ability to listen to constructive feedback and adjust as appropriate
· Customer oriented with strong sense of service and passion

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or 2 years Amazon experience
· 5 years of experience in safety related field
· 5 years of professional experience communicating via email and documents containing clear, compelling, grammatically correct content
· Proven ability to develop and create business continuity plan
· Proven, intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
