Amazon is seeking a Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Specialist for our Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (RME) team. The Reliability and Maintenance Engineering team plays a vital role in our operational success in the distribution aspect of the business. Being able to identify risk of equipment failure and eliminate the presence of that risk is what our organization strives for. Root Cause Analysis is the key to reaching that goal. The Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Specialist will be responsible for enhancing the existing RCA program with a focus on training, quality, and developing unique solutions to capture and analyze data to streamline our RCA focus in such a way that will render the best return on our investment.

Roles and Responsibility:

· Develop, contribute to, and manage delivery of, Root Cause Analysis training program
· Analyses data for training need analysis and maintains monthly training calendar
· Mentor, coach, and develop both Amazon and Third Party (3P) provider Train The Trainer (TTT) RCA personnel
· Assists in reviewing training materials and curriculum
· Works closely with RME learning team and keeps all stakeholders informed
· Works closely with our 3P and Amazon maintenance teams to ensure alignment on RCA processes
· Manages RCA SME team
· Identifies opportunity for RCA and develops processes to address
· Facilitates high impact RCAs and drives network rollout of solutions
· Possesses a strong attention to detail.
· Assist in developing and managing adherence to Reliability KPIs
· Works closely with equipment OEMs to drive equipment reliability
· Regular meetings with stakeholders to seek feedback and provide updates to RME Leadership
· Regular updates to training program manager
· Develop a formalized trigger process for both Fulfillment Center and corporate RCA efforts.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
· A completed Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) from an accredited university or 2+ years Amazon experience in Maintenance, Engineering or similar role.
· Lean certification from accredited program
· Program Management experience
· Previous leadership experience
· Experience in project management
· Experience with leading and delivering technical training
· Strong communication and presentation/facilitation skills
· Strong analytical skills to deep dive into data
· Ability to turn complex compliance requirements into scalable processes
· Excellent written English and communication skills
· Working knowledge of MS Office Suite including MS Project, Excel and Power Point
· Strategic and tactical thinker with ability to multitask and prioritize
· Ability to work in fast-paced environment and resourceful in achieving success in the face of ambiguity
· Understanding of Lean Manufacturing tools: 5S, 5Y, FMEA, PDCA,Value Stream Mapping, DMAIC, Run Charts, Pareto Analysis
