Title: Quality Assurance Technician II
Worksite: Seattle, WA
Assist with all testing activities including build verification, regression testing, new feature testing, development support, bug ticket creation and management, automated test result monitoring, test planning, test case creation, process improvement, and reporting. Help execute test cases and generate useful bug reports containing detailed data and communication identifying, tracking, and reporting defects found. Translate technical specifications into usable test plans and cases. Work with engineers to understand changes and new features, create new test cases and modify existing cases as appropriate. Create and lead test plan reviews with engineering and project management teams, research, and document root cause for issues. Suggest and implement process improvements for engineering and Quality Assurance and work with other teams to develop processes and procedures, edits and maintain scripts for performing routine testing tasks, and manage efficient testing, including parallel testing, combining test cases and writing scripts.

Ideal candidate profile
Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have three years of experience in the following skill(s): developing tests for large-scale software systems using Java or Shell Scripts in a Windows, UNIX, or Linux environment; and documenting and coordinating the deployment of manual and automated tests. Domestic or International travel required up to 10%.
