DESCRIPTION

Amazon is seeking a Property Tax Analyst to join our Indirect Tax Reporting team. This individual will be a key member of the team and will have exposure to Amazon's various business activities including data centers, fulfillment/distribution centers, logistics, administrative offices, and multiple entrepreneurial start-ups across the United States and Canada.

This position is needed to support the rapid growth of work associated with our expanding portfolio of sites.

Primary responsibilities will include:
· Preparation of Amazon's Personal Property Tax returns and audit related assistance.
· Obtaining and reviewing value notices for both personal and real property tax portfolios.
· Assisting team with the property tax payments.
· Assisting with the maintenance and enhancement of the personal property tax database.
· Updating and maintaining internal property tax process documents.
· Identifying areas for improvement within assigned role and responsibilities.
· Supporting internal reporting and other tax projects and initiatives as directed by management.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
· 3+ years of property tax experience.
