We are looking for a Project Analyst to join the Global Projects Team within the Workforce Staffing's Program Management Team (PMT) group.

The Project Analyst will uphold Amazon hiring standards, improve candidate experience, and progress Workforce Staffing performance by providing data, insight, and analysis. This allows the PMT team to drive relevant change and steer senior leaders to proactively identify and mitigate defects. You will plan project resources, manage timelines, manage project issues & risks, monitor project processes, and document/report out on project metrics and outcomes.

The Project Analyst will be expected to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, all in different phases with different timelines/deadlines while providing daily and weekly updates. Projects will require in depth analysis before presenting the data in a concise and digestible format to up to C level executives.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytics background allowing them to leverage quantitative data to support or reject their respective projects. Experience in tools such as Excel, VBA, and Tableau is preferred as the Global Projects Team works closely with Amazon's Business Intelligence team to store, analyze, and publish large datasets for the network.

Responsibilities:
· Assists with the management and prioritization of project intake by evaluating defects across all business lines and their overall impact to those businesses.
· Work with established project teams by delivering in depth data-driven recommendations.
· Make business recommendations utilizing benchmarking (e.g. cost-benefit, forecasting, and experiment analysis) and present findings to senior leaders through visual representation.
· Liaises with teams globally to ensure effectiveness of proposed solutions and optimized ROI through the five phases of the project lifecycle.
· Drives relevant change and directs senior leaders though virtual and physical deep-dives by communicating requirements, negotiating priorities, and quantifying what success looks like.
· Continually evaluate and improve ongoing reporting, analyses, and establishing new benchmarks.
The role can be based in Seattle, Nashville or at one of our regional office locations. Virtual Location will be considered.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience with Amazon Workforce Staffing operations, and standard work
· 4+ years of relevant professional experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst or related
· Effective in a small, multi-disciplined, fast-paced team environment
· Have ability to deliver consistent results with quick turnaround
· Strong spirit of innovation, self-starter, independent, and with the ability to come up with solutions to meet business problems
· Ability to work with business owners to define key business questions and build data sets that answer those questions
· Proven problem solving experience and strong attention to detail
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate across business functions and levels of leadership.
· Ability to work well in ambiguous environments
· Strong operational business understanding, including potential impact of business decisions on various internal/external stakeholders, systems, and processes

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor degree required
· 3+ years experience with Tableau, Salesforce, Microsoft Excel to include making charts, data manipulation, pivot tables, and visual basic knowledge
· 5+ years experience in project management
· Ability to travel up to 75%
