DESCRIPTION

Amazon's Direct Fulfillment (DF) team is looking for an experienced Leader to drive strategic vendor engagement, developing transportation capacity growth strategies, and expanding our services in North America and Canada. As a Program Manager, you will be a key contributor to the future technology roadmap and long term vision of Direct Fulfillment within Amazon's Supply Chain Optimization Group (SCOT). In this role you will…
· Support, monitor, and systematically improve vendor and carrier performance metrics.
· Liaise and drive carrier relationships and contracts for North America's DF operation.
· Use data to identify and resolve issues through and anecdotal input from vendors and stakeholders.
· Communicating (writing and speaking) with executive audiences to provide program updates.
· Drive cost reduction by selecting and negotiating contracts with new carriers.

· You create pivot tables, v-lookups, and detailed data visualizations using MS Excel to analyze and report complex data sets to drive optimal business decisions.
· You own decisions from inception to implementation.
· You own continuous improvement efforts using your program management skills.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 2+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or transportation preferably in e-Commerce
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Logistics, Business or related fields or 2+ years experience in Amazon transportation
· Willing to travel up to 10%
