At the AWS Migration Acceleration Program (MAP), our go-to-market team works with our largest enterprise customers to apply programmatic and scalable mechanisms to help accelerate their AWS migration journeys. As the Industry Workload Migration BD Lead, you will have an exciting opportunity to define and deliver new capabilities that helps AWS teams engage more deeply with our enterprise customers on accelerated and successful migration of industry-specific workloads. You will be responsible for developing, implementing and scaling industry workload specific customizations and enhancements to our program mechanisms, drive sales enablement, and work with the field teams to accelerate customers' AWS migration journey with our most strategic customers. You will work closely with our customers, industry teams, and functional teams (Professional Services, Solution Architecture, Partners, Platform Services, and Marketing to name a few) in a dynamic, global organization. The objective is to continue to develop and scale existing portfolio of workload-specific variants of the go-to-market program offerings, and build, launch and scale new variants with tailored messaging, value proposition, and collateral for migrating workloads that are strategically important for mass migration and accelerated cloud adoption within target industries.

The right candidate will have demonstrated success in program-oriented global roles, owning and delivering differentiated results launching and scaling go-to-market programs. Candidate will be able to tackle ambiguity and complexity to create compelling go-to-market solutions to meet business objectives, bring excellent program and project management skills, apply a customer-obsessed and collaborative approach with strong data and metrics bias, dive-deep to understand industry and technical ecosystems, and demonstrate passion for helping customers transform through scaled cloud migration and adoption. The candidate will quickly develop understanding of how target industries operate, the unique characteristics of the industry ecosystem and strategic workloads in the context of mass cloud migration, and the opportunities and challenges in migrating these workloads to AWS. They will have specific experiences and skills working cross functionally and customers build, pilot and scale go-to-market offerings. They will also have working knowledge of cloud computing and experiences leading large-scale technology-enabled transformations.

Role & Responsibilities
· Lead the effort to build and scale workload-specific variants of the program mechanisms
· Scan the market and work with key AWS stakeholders to identify priority industries and workloads
· Define the approach and plan to work with key AWS stakeholders and customers to develop, test, launch and scale industry workload-specific offerings
· Work with industry teams to develop the value proposition and messaging around the opportunities enabled through accelerated mass migrations in the context of cloud-driven transformations in their industries
· Working backwards from customers, identify strategic workloads, common cloud adoption patterns and migration approaches, and key success enablers and blockers toward mass cloud migration for target industries
· Together with a broader AWS team, help develop the strategic plan focusing on the business development and delivery elements of the strategy, and plan to engage customers and partners
· Customize and extend go-to-market program components, which will include (but not be limited to): AWS field team engagement model, technology and consulting partners, workload-specific approach to migration planning and execution (which can include customer workshops, assessment, experience-based planning and learning), customer proposal and offer development, internal and external collateral, incentives, target customers, and success measures,
· Establish credibility in sales cycles (personally or with the broader field and account teams), and coordinate engagement with customers across AWS and ecosystem partners·
· Drive iterative approach to experimentation (test-learn-refine), GA and scale growth, working with regional business development and account teams, partners and professional services
· Collaborate with marketing to develop and align digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness and demand
· Present at customer events and executive briefings

QUALIFICATIONS DE BASE

· 7-10 years of relevant work experience in technology enabled advisory, consulting, systems integration, product management, product marketing, business development, and/or transformation management roles, preferably across multiple industries
· Strong preference for enterprise-scale systems integration, technology-driven transformation and infrastructure/cloud migration experiences
· Experience leading the effort or partnering closely with functions evaluating industry trends, market opportunities, and creating go-to-market strategies and offerings
· Experiences working across multiple industries, with demonstrated depth in least one industry
· Working knowledge and experience in cloud infrastructure and value proposition
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills with proven success in leading multi-functional initiatives across technical and non-technical stakeholders
· Excellent business and financial acumen

QUALIFICATIONS APPRÉCIÉES

· An MBA is desired; technical background with Computer Science, and/or Engineering/Math background is highly desired; working knowledge of software development practices and data center / infrastructure / networking technologies highly desired.
· 10+ years of relevant work experience; breadth and depth in multiple industry markets and industry ecosystems.
· >3 years of consulting experience highly desired
· 3 years of experience in BD, specialized sales, or delivering enterprise-scale tech programs
· 3 years of experience with large scale technology transformation programs
· First-hand experiences with enterprise technology strategy planning and decision making process
· Deep understanding of application and infrastructure portfolio management
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills. Experience communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams.
· Relevant technical knowledge is helpful, such as: database systems, core distributed computing concepts, fundamentals of cloud computing and virtualization, storage systems, software defined networking, network functions virtualization, etc. with ability to go deep enough on relevant technologies key to target industries ·

This position must be located at one of our U.S. AWS Corp. offices with a preference for Seattle.
