DESCRIPTION

Amazon Imaging builds the world's best online shopping experience through photography, video, graphic design, and usability design enabling millions of customers to make more informed purchasing decisions. The Photo Studio Producer will facilitate end-to-end creative production for Amazon's photography studio and focused on editorial. The successful candidate will oversee project management, production schedules, and budget, as well as the sourcing and booking of crews, management of logistics, and coordinating creative approvals for special projects. This person must also have a strong understanding of usage rights and legal releases.

RESPONSIBILITIES * Lead or support high quality production of approved concepts within budget and schedule * Organize production information for internal reviews * Attract new talent and raise the quality bar by develop working relationships with talent representatives * Develop strategy for the scheduling and booking confirmation process for freelance talent * Responsible for all negotiations with vendors * Coordinate and manage logistics with studios and location scouts * Partner with marketing, advertising and promotions to ensure consistent messaging of Amazon brand * Take creative direction given by business partners and translate that into daily production teams * Ensure all legal documentation is accurately completed and received from incoming talent * May support the financial tracking by assisting with invoicing and reconciling expenses * Oversee image usage rights management * Manage production budget and payment approvals, and partners closely with Finance to ensure proper financial reporting

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent required * Professional experience in a high volume, photo studio production operations, handling freelance bookings directly * Strong knowledge of industry rates and booking procedures of freelance talent * Full understanding of photo crew roles and responsibilities * Ability to continuously manage multiple high priority tasks * Self-driven and able to easily communicate creative ideas and collaborate in a team environment * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with management and outside vendors * Proficient working knowledge of Mac and PC computing platforms, including Microsoft Office * Proficiency with database management tools * Excellent English proficiency (written and verbal)
