Amazon is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Procurement Analyst to assist the Procurement department in managing all aspects of the purchase to pay process for new site launches across the EU. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The ideal candidate requires experience in administration and/or procurement, ideally within an international fast-paced and customer-driven environment. You will be responsible for:

- Working with your line manager and other Procurement Specialists in the team (based across the EU) to support the launch of new sites.
- Maintenance of Amazon Launch Procurement system and tools.
- Maintenance of Procurement records and databases (e.g. supplier setup, new site system setup, contract information, supplier performance).
- Maintaining clear documentation and audit trail of procurement activities.
- Utilizing multiple databases and systems to deliver accurate metrics, reporting and analytics.

- Managing the relationship with our internal customers and suppliers.
- Managing the orders, via the Order Tracker, for new site launches, to ensure there are no risks to launch.

- Enforcing and monitoring Procurement policy compliance.
- Delivering policy and process training to requesters and key stakeholders/functions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Previous use of Oracle/Coupa would be advantageous
- German, French, Italian, Spanish language skills would be advantageous

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience of dealing with both internal and external customers/suppliers at all levels.
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels to manage expectations and push back where appropriate.
- Demonstrates patience and perseverance during setbacks and challenges.
- Takes ownership of daily/weekly/monthly tasks as well as adhoc tasks.
- Strong planning, organization, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task, work and complete tasks effectively under minimal supervision, tight time constraints, and periodic high volume circumstances.
- Computer literate with experience of Microsoft packages (including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Willing to travel throughout the EU if required.
- Fluent/business proficient in English.
