Do you want to be part of the business development team helping to establish Amazon Web Services as the leading cloud computing platform?

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Solutions Architecture team is looking for an experienced and motivated technologist with a passion for creating strategies, best practices and solving complex business challenges focusing on the Media and Entertainment (M&E) industry.

This position will engage customers in ASEAN countries and be based in an ASEAN country.

As the M&E Partner Solutions Architect you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of Amazon's utility computing web services (Amazon Compute, Storage, Database and Networking) across the channel partner community.

The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a deep understanding of Media and Entertainment, use cases, architectures, workflow and ecosystem. Specifically, in Supply Chains supporting Broadcast and Digital, Broadcast and Media Operations, and Over the Top Delivery. The ability to connect technology with measureable business value is critical to a solutions architect. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.

Successful candidates will also possess:
· The deep technical skill in software architecture and cloud computing
· Customer facing skills ideally gained within a partner organization and have demonstrated the ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· The right person will possess significant hands on implementation or consulting experience and demonstrate a strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
· The successful candidate will have spent several years of their career in customer facing roles in the field of video, visual effects delivering software architecture and a proven record of effective collaborations across multiple internal organisations and interactions with partner and customers.
· Experience working with end user or developer communities.
· Experience supporting partners and programs.
· Influential verbal and written communications skills are a must. Past experience writing and publishing technical whitepapers desirable.
