People Technology in Amazon builds systems to empower Amazon's global workforce. We are working on one of the world's biggest workforce data projects and are looking for a smart, ambitious, strategic, business transformation leader to drive improvements and efficiency with this global transformation.

Responsibilities:

- Identifying and prioritizing projects and programs to drive design improvement, efficiency and change.
- Work closely with operations, tech and HR leadership to identify big opportunities for change.
- Assess the scope and feasibility and recommend projects to senior leadership.
- Independently manage a portfolio of large complex projects and programs from concept through to pilot and full implementation
- Structure approaches to solving complex design and operational problems and develop key hypotheses.
- Drive and manage detailed data analysis to shape and scope solutions.
- Teach and coach our teams on how to drive design and performance improvement and focus on the highest value opportunities.

Desired profile



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· A bachelor's degree from an accredited university
· Six years of experience in project, program, and/or product management teams that are responsible for cross-functional deliverables
· Demonstrated ability to define, influence, refine, and implement processes, procedures and policies
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, evaluate outcomes and challenge conventional wisdom.
· Experience in or demonstrated ability to influence with or without formal authority
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
