The product: AWS Thinkbox's Deadline enables customers of all sizes to manage their complex image rendering, simulation, and compute pipelines on premises, on our industry leading cloud infrastructure or in hybrid scenarios. Customers around the world – from 2-person mechanical engineering shops, to leading architecture and design firms, to multi-national Media & Entertainment companies delivering on massive feature films – use Deadline and EC2 Spot to scale their compute pipelines – getting more done in less time, while reducing their costs by up to 80%.
The team: AWS Thinkbox bring new customers to AWS with innovative products & pricing solutions. The team is in charge of delivering a rapidly expanding platform that is simple to understand, quick to get started on, and easy to scale elastically. You: We're seeking a product leader to define and detail our long term product strategy in a new industry segment and guide the evolution of products and services to delight our customers. Product development in the AWS Thinkbox team is a collaborative effort between engineering, product, design, and business development. You'd be joining a core group of experienced Product Managers who have helped build and scale products that reach millions of customers.

· You have an instinctive understanding of a good product, and can raise the bar on customer-focused thinking among team members with reasoned, data-driven analysis
· You can dive into technical details and ask engineers insightful questions about the services and dependencies you influence.
· You can think long-term, can balance conflicting interests, and converge on outcomes that earn trust and customer loyalty.
You would be responsible for:
· Defining high-quality roadmaps based on team strategy and vision
· Developing detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for the product
· Managing prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience, performance and operational support load
· Working closely with engineering teams, design, and program management in an agile environment to deliver products to market
· Driving product launches, including working with public relations team, executives, and other team members
Desired profile
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's degree
· Minimum 3 years product management experience
· Conversant with internet technologies
