DESCRIPTION

The PIT Trainer works with operations managers, area managers, production assistants, and associates to execute and track the site’s Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Training Program. The PIT Trainer constantly improves the long-term capabilities of the area to which he/she is assigned.
The overall objective of this role is to provide hourly associates and managers with PIT training. The

Trainer will:
· Be certified to operate each piece of PIT equipment that the site uses
· Support the PIT training needs of the Fulfillment Center
· Coordinate all PIT Training activities including re-certifications
· Execute all standard tasks as outlined on site’s PIT Trainer Standard Work Checklist
· Effectively executes network standard training program
· Audits the execution of PIT training delivery
· Provide ongoing support and coaching to the PIT Operators
· Partner with Operations and Safety to ensure network standard training materials are accurate to FC conditions and equipment type
· Maintain site’s PIT training records and documentation
· Partner with site’s Safety Team to ensure Local compliance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience delivering PIT training/information to peers, hourly associates, and senior management, both individually and in groups
· Willingness to work different shifts and different areas
· Ability to give and receive feedback effectively
· Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing direction

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Have PIT license for a minimum of 3- 6 months and operated for a minimum of 250 hours during this period
· Must be a Blue badge associate with a good record in safety, quality, productivity and no active warnings in the past 12 months
· Must have good communication skills
· Must have Heavy Equipment Driving License According to country specific regulation
· Must have the ability to work with standards and training materials
· Must have a valid driving license
· Must have a clear HR file, no pending warnings
· This requirement is to ensure tenured experience and that Instructor has the knowledge to answer trainees’ practical questions as well as be able to recognize behaviors within the environment
· Understanding of fulfillment center processes and flow
· Organization skills-able to handle multiple and changing priorities
