** This position may be located in an area other than Seattle, but candidates must be based near an AWS office location (Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Cupertino, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, East Palo Alto, Herndon, New York City, Pittsburgh, Portland, San Francisco, Santa Monica, Seattle, or Tempe). Preferred location in Seattle or Denver. **

We are continually enhancing our Training and Certification (T&C) programmatic requirements and tools to support the AWS Partner Network (APN). You’ll have global responsibility to work with APN stakeholders and partners to optimize partner scale and training within the APN ecosystem. You’re responsible for driving the T&C strategy operations, reporting, and processes with the APN team for membership tiers. We are looking for a world-class candidate to lead this global effort for our AWS Partners.

The Training & Certification (T&C) programs and operations team serves a wide variety of partners (consulting and technology) in all geographies. The T&C organization covers the globe and our AWS Partner Network (APN) partners including but not limited to Global Service Integrators (GSI), Select Partners, Advanced Partners, Premier Partners, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) partners, Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) partners, Independent Software Vendors (ISV), Independent Hardware Vendors (IHV), Startups, etc.

Strongly prefer this position to be in Seattle or Denver

Responsibilities:
· Work with a team that focuses on partner training and certification to produce well-trained partners.
· Manage and evolve the Accreditation, Certification and continuous learning strategy for Partner Training.
· Report against membership tier requirements, effectiveness and return on our investment.
· In collaboration with other GEO and Global Program Managers, invent new programs and mechanisms while simplifying existing programs.
· Engage with local internal service team and functional leaders to ensure program alignment and support across AWS.
· Define/Evolve Programs to drive incremental training and certifications for partner organizations.
· Set and manage GEO based input and output goals for the organization and provide regular and consistent reporting and analytics.
· Prepare and give business reviews to the senior executive teams at both a global and GEO level.
· Clear track record of managing similar complex projects and programs while demonstrating exceptional business judgement.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Masters in Business Administration
· Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional internal and external audiences.
· Strong written communications skills, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
· Demonstrated ability to engage and influence executive decision makers.
· Experience working at a large technology company preferred
· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role.
· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 7+ years of Enterprise Technology experience driving large initiatives and working in a partner-oriented role.
· 7+ years clear track record of delivering programs that accelerate revenue and results.
· Travel up to 25%, domestic and globally, sometimes on short notice.
