DESCRIPTION

As a Partner Development Solution Architect, you will focus on Consulting partners within Amazon Web Services (AWS). Your primary role is that of a technical strategist and evangelist to shape and deliver on a strategy that builds mind share and broad use of AWS services across the partner community. Your broad responsibilities will include: be a thought leader for our partners, lead a small team of highly skilled solution architects, own the technical strategy with strategic partners, ensure and lead engagement, define the go-to market and technical architecture of new consulting partner offerings, and define the strategy for enabling and educating partners to increase productivity, quality, and efficiency on AWS engagements, .

As the right candidate, you will possess advanced technical skills in software architecture and cloud computing, customer facing skills at all levels of a partner organization, and business acumen in the Consulting Partner field. You should be comfortable speaking with everyone from the CEO down to the most junior developer about AWS technology and the value it brings. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical rewards and challenges.

33% domestic travel is required.

This position can be based anywhere in the Northwest, but must be able to travel to Seattle and other locations.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 7+ years of hands on implementation or consulting experience and demonstrate knowledge of the software development lifecycle
· 3+ years in a customer and or partner facing role
· BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required
