Responsible for all aspects of integration of architectural backgrounds, production and process equipment layouts with operational space design and planning for entire distribution/ fulfilment centres, sort centres, air sort centres, other support facilities, including office areas, support areas for economy of operation and maximum utilization of facilities and equipment, keeping in compliance with building and safety codes.

Present and lead Design reviews with stakeholders. Manage revision/ document control for composite plans, gain approvals from Leadership for designs, release drawing plans to internal and external vendors like Architects, IT contractors, GCs, MHE and racking vendors for implementation.

Manage aspects of design project management like schedule, stakeholder, communication, risk and quality management. Responsible for document management and revision control.

Other responsibilities will include continuous improvement projects within Ops Design and also within EP&A, communications with wide ranging stakeholders, compliance with internal drafting standards.
Candidate should be able to work in a highly ambiguous and dynamic and fast paced environment. Should have strong project management skills, verbal and written communications, attention to detail. Candidate should be self- motivated and a self starter who is able to accurately prioritize work in a fast and complex environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

BS or BA in Architecture, Industrial Design, Mechanical Design or any other engineering field OR 2yrs+ experience in related field

AutoCAD experience - 1 year minimum

Microsoft Office Suite - Xcel, Word, PowerPoint
