Job description

DESCRIPTION

This job can be based in any of the EU5 main corporate offices (Paris, London, Munich, Madrid, Milan, Luxembourg).

Are you a self-starter with a passion for supply chain optimization and project management? Are you a problem-solver who wants to find solutions to permanently eliminate operational defects? Would you like to drive business by having a big impact on vendors' satisfaction with Amazon? Are you interested in an InStock Manager, Product Manager or Operations career track?

You are in the right place!

Our Amazon Vendor Services team (AVS) develops programs to disproportionately grow vendors on Amazon. One of our new services helps Amazon's most strategic vendors reduce operational defects causing financial shortages. Your role will be to select top priority vendors, work with Vendor Managers and Brand Specialist to ensure these vendors are willing to “invest” in the service (time from the supply chain manager + willingness to change their processes), to analyze their defects, to run Kaizens + FC visits, and to elaborate action plans to eliminate defects. You will also work with Central Teams (e.g. FinOps, SCOT, Tech teams) to close the loop on issues that can be resolved scalably through Amazon process/system improvements. As you will focus on few vendors at a time, and rotate frequently (working in collaboration with VMs, ISMs and Brand Specialists to ensure continuity), this role will expose you to a variety of operational problems across categories, making it a great fit for anyone interested in InStock Management, Product Management or Operations.

Kaizen workshops), and closing the loop with Amazon teams who have the ability to implement scalable process/system improvements to eliminate defects.
· Evaluate the impact of Amazon and vendor actions on key business metrics
· Work on projects related but not limited to improvement of this service (i.e. expanding the value proposition, faciliate pitching for increase in vendor coverage etc.)
