The Role:

The OEM Business Strategist has the responsibility to support the Integrated Management System (IMS) which defines the strategy, implementation and management and technology integration for Amazon's Device Manufacturing Services.

Strategy – Support refinements to the long-term strategy 3-5 years into the future to meet company and product objectives. in a changing environment. Support the development of the content for the cross functional strategy reviews with senior leadership to drive alignment. Perform data analysis in support of disruptive strategies that challenge the status quo and catalyze new ways of thinking.

Implementation – Execute integrated business processes and best practice templates to enable consistent and efficient implementation of the strategy. Examples include requests for information and quotation, business awards, analytical tools such as predictive cost models.

Performance Management – Assist in the execution of supplier performance management systems. This includes forward looking strategic reviews as well as backward looking KPI driven reviews. Ensure consistency across the supply base to achieve a level playing field and drive supplier improvement. Preparation is critical as is consistency and continuous improvement

Influencers – Manage the data to ensure that internal and external changes (predicted and actual) are visible and incorporated into the strategy, execution and performance management pillars of the integrated management system. Capturing critical information as it becomes available is vital so that we can anticipate and react quickly to changes in our operating environment. Examples include labor costs, tax structures and geo political events.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Master's degree or equivalent experience
· 10+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects
· 10+ years of experience in product or process definition, having taken a product or process from concept to execution
· 5+ years post Master's experience in supply chain, logistics, finance, consulting or in a strategic, business analyst capacity
· Ability to travel
