AWS Engineers provide advanced monitoring, troubleshooting solutions to our customers along with replicating and reproducing issues in order to provide high standard resolutions for complex situations. Our Engineers are the point of contact to our customers during critical events, being our clients’ Consultants.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Exposure to Virtualization (VMware, Xen, Hypervisor)
· Prior working experience with AWS - any or all of EC2, S3, EBS, ELB, RDS, VPC, VPN, Direct Connect, Route53
· Exposure to security concepts / best practices
· Experience with various routers and firewall appliances from: Cisco, Juniper, SonicWALL, Checkpoint, Watchguard, Palo-Alto, etc.

Desired profile
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Strong Linux system administrator skills
· Experienced with Linux system monitoring and analysis
· Networking (DNS, TCP/IP)
· Expertise with IPsec and SSL VPN, Load Balancing, Iperf, MTR, Routing Protocols, SSH, Network Monitoring / Troubleshooting tools
· Strong knowledge with BGP (preferred) or any other dynamic routing protocol
· Certification: CCNA R&S or Security, CCNP R&S or Security or equivalent.
· Experience with OpenSWAN and OpenVPN
· Good understanding of distributed computing environments
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Customer obsessed
· Multi-tasking will be essential to adapt to our fast-paced environment, however it will be super easy if you are curious and enjoy learning new things just for the sake of your own mind. J
· Strong analysis and networking troubleshooting skills
· Self-starter who is excited about learning new technology
