Position Responsibilities:
Support employee installations globally. Collaborate with teams of engineers located in different regions around the world to support connectivity options for the Corporate, Customer Service, and Subsidiary locations. Support cutting-edge, multi-vendor data connectivity solutions. Monitor and maintain performance and capacity at Amazon’s office installations. Work with vendors and cross-functional teams for on-going design efforts and systems support. Support and build wireless solutions for a variety of Amazon locations. Support and build ISP facilitated meshed MPLS connectivity for all Amazon Customer Service locations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Position Requirements:

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master’s degree and one year of experience. Must have one year of experience in the following skills: IP networking fundamentals and the application of IP protocols; use of protocols and technologies, including BGP, OSPF, VPNs, MPLS, DNS, RTP, IP, TCP (internals and flow control), UDP, DHCP, DWDM, Ethernet, and HTTP; experience with Cisco Platform (Cisco 37xx, 39xx, 45xx, 49xx, 94xx, ASR, and Nexus 7k, 9k devices); experience with IPSec / Remote Access VPN technologies , Firewalls (Cisco ASA and Firepower/FTD) and Wireless (802.11x); experience with IT Best Practices; experience with Automation Tools and scripting with Ansible and Python; experience with performance Management Tools and Configuration management Tools; documenting and coordinating the deployment of manual and automated tests for complex systems.
