The Amazon Gift Card business is a rapidly growing, multi-billion dollar business which significantly contributes to the company’s profitability. The Consumer Gift Cards team is responsible for creating and enhancing multiple products sold globally through the Amazon website. We’re designing simple and creative tools to help millions of people put a smile on the faces of their friends and family. Our product line includes electronic gift cards (e.g. email, SMS, print at home), physical gift cards, branded gift cards (e.g. Starbucks and Whole Foods) and Stored Value products which help customers manage and add funds to their existing Amazon Gift Card balance. We are seeking a high-performing, innovative and analytical Marketing Manager for our team.

The Gift Cards team mission is to drive the most desired gift, ever. We aim to create delightful gifts that are thoughtful for the recipient and convenient for the giver. The Stored Value team's mission is to ideate, build, launch and drive ongoing demand for an Amazon closed-loop payment product using gift card balance. Customers use our products to reload their own gift card balance (for budgeting, rewards, or payments consolidation), send balance to a friend, or set-up auto-recurring reloads.

The Marketing Manager will drive demand while ensuring a consistently high bar for the customer experience. You will own the go-to-market activities for new product or feature launches, including the marketing strategy, on-site experience, and customer segmentation and targeting. You will also own the marketing for seasonal events, working on strategy and execution. You will lean into data to learn about our customers, their use cases, and how to best reach them with compelling marketing campaigns.

As part of the broader Amazon Gift Cards Marketing team this person will have ownership of the following key responsibility:
- Own the Gift Cards store on Amazon.com and Amazon.ca across all devices
- Manage campaigns designed to drive traffic to the Gift Cards store
- Define creative, high quality, simple marketing material that highlights the value proposition of our products to the right audience during key seasonal events
- Work closely with stakeholders to influence Gift Card participation in cross-site events
- Ideate and execute on opportunities to drive new customer acquisition, retention and personalization

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years of product or digital marketing experience delivering results in a consumer facing role
- Experience working cross-functionally with product, marketing, and engineering peers to launch and promote new products
- Strong data analysis skills; the ability to run and synthesize data in order to make on-point business decisions
- Excellent customer intuition; demonstrated success in delivering innovative and user-friendly customer-facing marketing messages
- An outstanding oral and written communicator; has the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
- Strong attention to detail, relentlessly high standards and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
