Are you ready to be the face of Amazon Transportation? As a Logistics Specialist, you will be a vital member of Amazon's Transportation Operations Management team. Logistics Specialists ensure packages can get in and out of Amazon Sortation Centers with ease by coordinating with nearby Fulfillment locations and local logistics service providers.

As a Logistics Specialist you will:

· Establish and communicate daily load plan development
· Consolidate information from different sources to determine daily load plan requirements for the Sort Center then adjusting outbound freight requirements accordingly
· Compile data from multiple data sources and generate weekly metrics and daily reports to support business needs; uncover data integrity issues
· Create and publish the Daily Dispatch Plan for Direct Delivery Unit (DDU) Carriers
· Prepare shipping documents as needed for outbound delivery to carrier partners
· Set-up efficient routing and staging practices to maximize utilization for effective capacity planning

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications For basic qualifications, we require:

· A high school diploma or equivalent
· You are at least 18 years old, and authorized to work in the United States
· You are able to work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
· 1+ year of experience working with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
· Able to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach, all with or without reasonable accommodation
