DESCRIPTION
Amazon – where builders can build. We’re seeking a sourcing recruiter subject matter expert who can elevate our ability to attract legal talent to Amazon's legal department. In this role, you’ll use your influence and know-how to raise the bar on Amazon’s sourcing and talent attraction strategy for the Americas. You’ll partner with a team to create and drive a sourcing strategy that includes a hands-on, dive deep approach across all levels from legal professionals to attorney talent needs. You’ll apply your data analysis and process improvement skills to recommend and implement changes with senior leadership and the recruiting team. As a key consultant to internal clients, you will serve as the main point of contact for key sourcing initiatives and you will own a portfolio of work that is focused on bringing top legal talent to Amazon.
Key Requirements for the role:
· Excellent ability to partner with a wide variety of mid to senior level legal clients including, associate general counsels, corporate counsels, contract managers, paralegals and other legal support
· Passionate advocate for the candidate experience; constantly thinking about how to improve the experience for candidates and influencing clients to consider candidates as Amazon customers
· Creative thinker who can create and execute innovative sourcing strategies to generate a diverse slate of candidates.
· Strong command of data and experience using it to influence customers or change your own approach and advocacy for experimentation.
· Process oriented; follows standardized recruiting processes at all points in the candidate life cycle to improve recruiting efficiency; capable of process inspection and an eye for continuous improvement
· Ability to partner across geographies with respect and sensitivity to both local customs and team skill levels (entry to senior)
· Inherently curious about the legal function at Amazon; you will work to deeply understand the clients, improves business acumen in the legal space, and apply business knowledge of the legal function to improve assessment and placement of candidates
· Exceptional bias for action; acts as a highly productive recruiter for niche or complex legal roles
· Experience creating or using reports and partner with dedicated analysts to create dashboards that meet customer needs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Graduate Degree or Bachelor’s degree in an applicable discipline (this might include degrees in Human Resources, Public Affairs, Political Science or other functional areas related to the Legal vertical)
· Experience recruiting full time employee hires
· Domain experience recruiting in the Legal vertical
