DESCRIPTION

Amazon Business (AB) is seeking an experienced and results-oriented learning and development (L&D) professional to lead the AB Learning & Development team. The AB Learning & Development (L&D) team develops and delivers learner-obsessed training programs across multiple modalities including traditional instructor-led, synchronous/asynchronous eLearning and peer-to-peer sessions. As the L&D leader, you will align the team's priorities and deliverables with the objectives of the AB go-to-market teams (Sales, Marketing, Professional Services) and lead a team responsible for developing and implementing the training and skill-building initiatives that will help AB's go-to-market teams achieve their goals.

The ideal candidate will also be a passionate people leader, hiring & developing a high impact team of L&D professionals. The successful candidate will be entrepreneurial, innovative and excel at “thinking big,” while also recognizing the need to coordinate the team's activities within the established structure of a large, fast-growing company.

Core Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional business partners (Buy/Sell-side Sales, Marketing, Product, HR) to identify knowledge and skill gaps; design learning initiatives to address these gaps.
- Design core L&D blended learning solutions/programs that scale with AB's Sales, Marketing and Professional Services teams.
- Deliver practical programs to reduce time-to-productivity for new hires and help improve proficiency and engagement of experienced team members
- Act as program owner for new L&D programs; own content changes and support bringing new facilitators up to speed.
- Measure impact of learning through a variety of mechanisms including new and existing measures such as Connections to monitor organizational health and employee engagement
- Hold a high-bar on ensuring Amazon Business' training programs resonate with US and International audiences.
Prepare and deliver L&D program reviews to key internal stakeholders

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 6+ years' experience in an L&D, Sales Training, program management or operations roles
· Bachelor's Degree in Education, Marketing, Sales or related discipline
· 2+ years experience hiring and developing hiring and developing L&D teams; proven ability to lead a team of individual contributors.
