We are currently looking to hire an experienced Lead IT Logistics Coordinator to join us and play a critical role in supporting the front-line operations team within our Global IT warehouse and logistics site in Seattle. Key job elements include:
· Providing assistance in the daily management of department duties, including assigning job duties, allocating labor, leading meetings, and communicating with internal and external suppliers.
· Providing follow-up, attendance tracking (duties do not extend to discipline).
· Tracking and reporting of labor hours.
· Assisting the floor as an associate resource, training associates, and verifying SOP compliance.
· Ensuring successful department performance, through tracking, reporting, and feedback of associate performance.
· Filling in as needed with production duties.
· Fully understanding workflow and daily production goals.
· Assisting in keeping work area clean and organized.
· Providing oversight for the laptop repair process, refurbishment and reverse logistics.
· Reviewing and updating SOP, as required.
· Participating in Operational Excellence initiatives, as required.
· Identifying and addressing safety hazards within the work area.
· Coaching associates to work safely at all times.
· Participating in safety initiatives.
· Referring all job injuries immediately to the manager.
The Lead IT Logistics Coordinator is a member of the larger IT Team within Global IT and will specifically support IT Offices within Seattle and occasionally across the United States. Lead IT Logistics Coordinators must have the ability to move up to 50 lbs. This team only operates during a single, day shift. This position reports directly to the IT Asset Manager--Seattle.

Lead IT Logistics Coordinators hold various roles within the IT Warehouse. There are several types of roles that hold different job-specific responsibilities including:

Process Assistant:
Smooth operator. Helping support daily management of department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties and communicating with internal and external suppliers. Escalates barriers to Operations leaders. Drives and executes standard work in the areas of Safety, Quality and Productivity to meet daily operational goals. May also serve as lead for up to three process areas and directly contribute to the drafting of weekly operational plans.

Dock Master:
The Dock Star--a one person show capable of balancing Receiving, Shipping, and Dock Clerk duties. Manage inbound and outbound flow including scheduling delivery and pickup appointments by contracted logistics partners and shipping companies. Duties also include regular communication with carriers, the corporate transportation group, management and dock personnel. Responsible for planning inbound arrivals, ensuring carrier compliance, leading dock personnel, keeping an up to date knowledge of scheduled appointments, monitoring new releases and communicating with other departments, and will be expected to train back-up clerks.

· Temperature in our warehouses may vary between 60 and 90 degrees, and will occasionally exceed 90 degrees.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience using Microsoft Excel and SharePoint applications in the execution of operations support.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Excellent coaching skills.
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
