DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an Instock Manager to support the Grocery category. You will own developing business plans and oversee supply chain and inventory management. You will lead cross-functional initiatives to improve customer experience and overall cost structure of the businesses. This position will be responsible for leading Instock for an AmazonFresh Grocery category. Responsibilities include executing inventory strategies to optimize customer experience, sales, margin and turns. The ideal manager will be focused on delivering high in-stock rates in order to achieve aggressive growth plans. They will audit and when necessary dive deep into the core drivers of in-stock performance. They will proactively identify opportunities to improve tools and work flows. This role interacts closely with retail and operations business partners across Amazon, and is pivotal to the growth of Amazon Grocery.
The successful candidate will communicate effectively across teams and levels, while balancing the needs and requirements of internal and external customers. They will be relentlessly focused on improving the customer experience. Flexibility and the ability to prioritize in a changing business environment will also be key. A successful Instock Manager must:
· Manage inventory availability and inventory health including: improved instock, inventory planning, vendor operational improvement (efficiency, fill rates, lead time), forecasting, and shrink reduction
· Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives to improve customer experience and overall cost structure of the business
· Perform complex business analysis to identify business opportunities to improve revenue and profitability
· Partner with internal teams to develop tools, automation, and process improvements that affect purchasing and vendor management workflows
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred qualifications
· 5+ years of business experience in project management, operations, or finance
· Possess excellent business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done
· Proficiency with SQL
· High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

Basic qualifications
· 2+ years of business experience in project management, operations, or finance
· Bachelor Degree in Business, Engineering or a Supply Chain/Operations discipline
· Data analysis, problem solving and project management skills
· Experience working with Microsoft Excel, database management and query tools
