Title: Industrial Designer II

Location: Boston, MA

Position Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver the next generation of high-performance fulfillment and transportation systems. Invent,
design, and implement engineering solutions to complex material flow/transformation human/machine efficiency problems throughout the global supply chain. Coordinate design and innovation efforts to develop optimal solutions for the fulfillment and transportation network through equipment specification, material flow, process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to generate high quality, cost effective solutions in very short periods of time, and simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Position Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Design, Systems Engineering or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or as an Industrial Designer, Process Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or a related occupation. One year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation must involve: Experience CAD surfacing, Microsoft Excel modeling, Microsoft Access, and management of engineering design projects. Domestic/International travel Required up to 25%.
