We are currently seeking an HR Generalist for our Cork site (FTC to cover a period of maternity leave).

Key Responsibilities
The HR Generalist will act as an influential partner across the Cork Customer Trust & Partner Support org (CTPS) in helping managers with talent management processes, people development, and implementation of organizational changes.

- Design, deliver and constantly improve our Onboarding proposition and programs in the country, in order to guarantee a positive Day 1/employee experience
- Partner with HR colleagues and with HR Services (HRS) to ensure that people processes are continuously reviewed and streamlined
- Act as the local expert on requests that are site specific like policies and labor law changes
- Consult and coach people managers on end-to-end performance management cases
- Manage employee engagement programs and support managers with action plans to drive Connections improvements
- Provide the tools, framework and support to HR Business Partners and Business Managers on change initiatives and execute change plans locally
- Lead the local communication and consultation process partnering with Legal, PR, and Tax as appropriate
- Drive the Talent Management processes, developing toolkits and communications that help managers to be self-sufficient
- Own Employee Relations processes and performance management
- Consult managers on people matters that require in depth knowledge of policies, procedures and local legislation, across multiple countries
- Enable the success of new and experienced managers by leveraging, delivering and improving existing training content
- Support with, and coach people managers for career development conversations
- Act as stewards of the employee experience and Amazon “culture keepers”
- Act as POC and Program Manager for people tools, processes, programs or projects and manage implementation and review of those
- Collaborate with other HR Partners on key HR areas/projects that are critical for the site/Region, such as introduction of new policies or benefits
- Analyze data and observations across the organization, highlighting trends and recommending/driving solutions, as appropriate

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree or higher, in Human Resources or related field
· 3-5 years of relevant Human Resources and Administration experience
· Employment law knowledge of the respective country
· Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem solving skills, critical thinking and analysis.
· Strong communication skills; excellent spoken and written English, any additional languages a plus
· Expert level experience with Word and Excel, including but not limited to charts, pivots and filters
· Coaching and consulting skills
· Experience in working in a highly matrixed organization
· Project management and execution skills.
· Thrives in a high-pressure environment and able to manage multiple simultaneous priorities
· Able to build trust with managers thanks to strong expertise and judgement
· Possesses intellectual curiosity; brings insight into the team & business
