DESCRIPTION
The Global Work Authorization HR Assistant is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides Human Resources support.
The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. Tasks vary in volume and complexity and include conducting in-person work eligibility checks at new hire orientation and the work authorization front desk in Seattle, conducting internal auditing as well as internal and external reporting. This role provides answers to questions regarding a broad range of work authorization questions and helps to manage cases, projects, and partner relationships with varying degrees of complexity. Critical to the role is the ability to manage confidential and sensitive employee information and adherence to strict confidentiality standards.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Responds quickly and accurately to work eligibility questions from customers which include candidates, associates, leaders and HR during New Hire Orientation, work authorization front desk activities as well as through electronic communication channels including chime and email.
· Handles high volume work authorization related transactions and other assignments following standard operating procedures including ensuring that employee work eligibility documentation is complete and accurate in all systems of record.
· Acts as a work authorization Subject Matter Expert for customers, escalates as appropriate.
· Provides training and guidance on work eligibility policies, processes, and systems to customers and new team members.
· Creates and distributes standard communications.
· Conducts daily/weekly audits. Analyzes and reports on key findings, trends and discrepancies. Supports correction of any
· Supports process improvement initiatives and develops suggestions for improvements to maximize value of resources.
· Performs project tasks as directed.
· Full shift flexibility including overtime and holidays, as needed
· All other duties and responsibilities as needed
Desired profile
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· A high school dipolma or equivalent
· Computer experience, specifically with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
· Experience with customer service or human resources.
