AWS Global Trade and Product Compliance (GTPC) ensures that Amazon complies with safety, trade, environmental, and other laws worldwide. GTPC is hiring Software Development Engineers to build systems that will achieve unprecedented scale for complex, knowledge-driven processes in product design, import/export, and controlled technology security.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience with distributed computing, enterprise-wide systems, and AWS products
· Experience with import-export, compliance or legal documentation systems
· Experience working successfully with partner teams at remote locations
· Understanding of Agile software engineering practices
· Global logistics or trade compliance experience

Desired profile
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
· 2+ years of professional experience in software development
· 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
· - Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as C, C++, C#, Java, Python, Go-lang, Ruby, Scala, etc.
