DESCRIPTION

Do you want to play an instrumental role in bringing the best and brightest talent to Amazon? Here’s your opportunity. We are seeking an influential Diversity Recruiter to join our recruiting team. In this role you will partner with the Diversity & Inclusion PMs, recruiting and hiring manager teams, as well as our internal and external affinity groups across Amazon. You will help to shape the direction of our tech and non-tech diversity strategy by building diversity focused recruiting strategies, surfacing untapped talent pools, incorporating market trends, and driving impactful initiatives.

You must be able to successfully manage projects and prioritize multiple deadlines and deliverables against a timeline. Having experience setting benchmarks, using metrics, and SLA's will be helpful.
The best candidates will draw on their knowledge of Talent Acquisition and knowing the needs of their business. Building trustful relationships with your business leaders, hiring managers, other recruiters and HR business partners is a key aspect. You are skilled in candidate generation, client/account management, and understand the value of providing customer driven service.

This role will be responsible for finding Talent for Amazon Devices. You will design and implement candidate sourcing strategies, that enable our teams to increase their diverse talent pool. You will serve as a diversity champion to support the growth and effectiveness of diversity hiring. You will need to partner with our diversity POCs and other recruiters. Your core responsibilities will include:

· Create and implement a staffing strategy that will be the framework for achieving our hiring goals.
· Partner with recruiters and hiring teams to help shape the direction of our tech diversity hiring strategy by creating innovative approaches, surfacing trends, and driving successful initiatives.
· Create a sourcing plan with clear deliverables, timelines, and a formal tracking process (ROI).
· Recruit passive candidates and gauge both technical and soft skills of candidates, and understand the candidate’s motivation in initial conversations.
· Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management
· Work with talent intelligence team to get insights into diversity hotspots
· Delivering various diversity TA projects across EMEA for all Devices businesses
· Build a comprehensive sourcing and recruiting strategy directed at achieving diversity and TA goals
· Piloting diversity initiatives to test impact and scale across countries
· Create a network of external focused diversity communities in our key countries and for key job families
· Run and attend diversity focused events and conferences and create calendars working with the business teams
· Draw conclusions and amend strategies and initiatives based on the metrics from monthly reporting’s, understand gaps and suggest path to green initiatives

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Commitment to continuous improvement
· Ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships
· Ability to continually seek new sourcing options, and develop creative approaches to sourcing and delivering candidates
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational and negotiation skills
· Strong ability to handle analytics, with the ability to create, measure, and scale the flow between candidates and recruiting teams
· CTS/ATS experience with sourcing, tracking and managing candidates
· Strong consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as a topic leader and team member.
· A background in executive recruiting is a plus

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Several years of diversity recruiting/sourcing experience
· Prior experience in a research/sourcing functions to generate candidate pools and hires
· Execute diversity sourcing process across our main technical and non-technical roles
· Experience building and driving talent sourcing initiatives with emphasis on attraction of technical talent
· Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships
· Experience using passive, online, and event sourcing techniques
