The Infrastructure Operations (Data Center) Team is the backbone of AWS, supporting the rapidly growing AWS business and customers 24/7. We are committed to maintain the physical infrastructure of AWS in the areas of availability, productivity, efficiency, while ensuring the standards of safety and security.

The Data Center Engineering Operations (DECO) team is seeking a hard working trainee who can support the deployment, operation, and maintenance of our large-scale, high-density data center facilities (electrical/mechanical systems, control/fire-fighting systems, etc.) during a 6 month contract period. We support our internal and external customers 24x7 all year, so work is by shift.

We may extend a full-time employment offer based on performance, etc. at the end of the contract period.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
· Support operation and maintenance of mission-critical facilities
· Support hands-on work relating to decrease/increase of rack capacity
· Support new build and expansion projects
· Support preparation and implementation of countermeasure for natural disasters, emergency response to high priority/critical incidents

データセンター エンジニアリング・オペレーションズ（DCEO）チームでは、トレーニーとして、6ヶ月の契約期間の間、高い意識を持って、AWSの大規模・高密度なデータセンター内で、ファシリティ（電気・機械設備、制御系・消防関連設備など）の導入から運用・保守のサポート（補佐）をしていただける方を募集しています。社内外のお客様向けのサービスを365日24時間体制でサポートしている為、勤務形態はシフト勤務となります。

契約期間中のパフォーマンスの評価等を考慮して、正社員ポジションをオファーさせていただくこともあります。

主な仕事内容
· ミッションクリティカルなファシリティの運用・保守業務のサポート（補佐）
· ラックキャパシティの増減に関わるハンズオン業務のサポート（補佐）
· 新規構築プロジェクト、拡張プロジェクト業務のサポート（補佐）
· 自然災害への準備・対策、インシデントなど優先度・重要度の高い緊急対応のサポート（補佐

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Basic knowledge (equivalent to CDCP) of either electrical or mechanical facilities
· Experience with change management, incident management, issue management, and troubleshooting after failure
· Experience writing documents such as standard operating procedures, methods of procedure, and emergency operating procedures
· Vendor management experience
· English proficiency (verbal and written) at a level that enables daily tasks without trouble - TOEIC 800+ or equivalent
· Able to understand and follow Safety and Security policies in a workplace
· Able to lift and/or move equipment weighing about 18kg safely using lifting machines
· Able to work in shifts (4 on, 3 off; switch between day and night shifts. Work schedule details will be discussed during the interview)

· ファシリティ（電気または機械設備）の基本的な知識（CDCS相当）を保持していること
· 日常業務を問題なくこなせる程度の英語でのコミュニケーション能力（会話・読み書き）- TOEIC 800点以上、または同等の英語力があること
· 変更管理、インシデント管理、問題管理、障害対応の経験があること
· 標準手順書、作業手順書、緊急手順書などの文書作成経験があること
· ベンダー管理経験があること
· セイフティー（安全）ならびにセキュリティのポリシー（基準）を理解し、順守できること
· 18 kg程度の機器を、機械を用いて安全に持ち上げ移動できること
· シフト勤務が可能な方（勤務形態：４勤３休のシフト制となり、日勤・夜勤を交互に担当します。更にシフト勤務の詳細は別途面接時にお伝えさせて頂きます。）
