DESCRIPTION

Amazon Web Services Korea is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented individual to join our Data Center Engineering Operations Team. This committed group works to maintain the critical physical infrastructure that supports Amazon Web Services. Specifically, this team works to ensure that the data center's MEP operates at 100% availability while maintaining first-class customer service to the teams and groups within the data centers.

The Data Center Engineering Operations is responsible for ensuring that all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center is operating within contract parameters within third party Colocation facilities. Often this will be including risk management and mitigation, corrective and preventative maintenance of critical infrastructure, vendor management and metric reporting.

DCEO는 데이터 센터 내의 모든 전기, 기계 및 화재 / 안전 장비가 계약 조항에 맞게 운영되도록 벤더 및 시설을 관리하는 업무를 담당합니다. 주요 업무에는 인프라의 장애 예방/유지 관리, 리크스 관리, 업체 관리 및 관련 보고 업무가 포함됩니다.

Responsibilities:
· Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on all aspects of the critical facility operations and maintenance
· Responsible for the on-site management of shift technicians, senior shift technicians, sub-contractors and vendors, ensuring that all work performed is in accordance with established practices and procedures.
· Manage relationship with third party Colocation providers and their facility staff
· Responsible for the operation of and management of both routine and emergency services on a variety of critical systems such as: switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, building monitoring systems, etc.
· Data Center capacity planning and reporting
· May assist in the design and build out of new facilities
· May assist in projects to increase current Facility efficiency
· Work with IT managers and other business leaders to coordinate projects, manage capacity, and optimize plant safety, performance, reliability and efficiency
· Deliver quality service and ensure all customer demands are met
· Procurement for DCEO related expenditure
· Responsible for asset and inventory management
· Assist in recruiting efforts

· 데이터 센터 용량 계획 및 리포팅
· 신규 시설의 설계 및 건축에 참여
· 기존 시설 운영의 효율성 향상을 위한 프로젝트 참여
· IT 매니저 및 기타 비즈니스 리더와 협력하여 프로젝트 관리, Capacity 관리, 플랜트 안전/성능/효율성 및 신뢰성 최적화

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· At least four years of experience of Data Center operations and on-call support for Data Center facilities.
· An undergraduate degree in a technical field (EE, Mech E, Industrial E) or equivalant working experience in the field
· An excellent understanding on the nature of mission critical systems (Data Centers, Hospitals, Power plants, military facilities, etc.).
· Previous vendor negotiation and management skills for Data Center and/or upgrade construction contracts.
· Ability to write and review accurate and complete support procedures, system documentation, and issue tracking entries.
· Shows good judgment and instincts in decision making under pressure.
· Ability to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment.
· Proactively and continually improve his/her level of knowledge about Amazon's business and relevant technologies.
· Able to demonstrate his/her ability to take ownership of technical issues brought to him/her by his/her customer base. If the candidate is unable to resolve certain issues by themselves, he/she should demonstrate a willingness to actively engage other support teams to drive it to resolution.
· An interest in work subject matter that ensures that the teams are kept abreast of all relevant industry standards changes and innovation practices.
· The candidate needs to be a self-starter and independent worker.
· Ability to solve problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context.
· Business level of English with fluent Korean

· 기술 분야의 학사 학위 (전기공학, 기계공학, 산업공학)
· 미션 크리티컬 시스템 (데이터 센터, 병원, 발전소, 군사 시설 등)의 특성에 대한 이해
· 데이터 센터나 업그레이드 건설 계약에 대한 공급 업체 협상 및 관리 기술
· 운영 및 기술 지원의 명확한 절차 및 시스템 문서화, 이슈 추적 보고서를 작성하고 검토 할 수 있는 능력
· 긴급한/중요한 상황에서의 명확한 의사결정 능력
· 복잡하고 빠른 업무 환경에서 우선 순위를 정하여 업무를 수행할 수 있는 능력
· Amazon의 비즈니스 및 관련 기술에 대한 지식 수준을 지속적이고 능동적으로 향상시킬 수 있는 적극성
