DESCRIPTION

As Associate Corporate Counsel, AWS Infrastructure Technology Development & Procurement, you will serve as a primary attorney for key Amazon Web Services hardware infrastructure engineering and supply chain & procurement teams, and partner with these teams to develop, procure, manufacture and deploy cloud computing infrastructure technologies worldwide.

The person serving in this role will structure, draft and negotiate agreements, counsel internal business clients, and manage outside counsel on matters and issues across the hardware development and supply chain & procurement spectrum. Additional responsibilities of this position include formulations and implementation of process-oriented improvements, administration and resolution of legal issues that arise in existing commercial relationships, and handling of pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.

The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, and enjoy working hard, being challenged, and working in a team-oriented environment.

This position will be based in Seattle.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Hardware development and procurement experience.
· In-bound technology licensing and procurement experience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· J.D. degree and membership in one state bar.
· Two or more years of legal experience (with at least two years at a law firm); in-house experience in a technology company is a plus.
