We are seeking a Category Analyst to join our Global Customer Fulfillment (GCF) Category Procurement team, supporting our contractor risk management program. The Category Analyst will programmatically drive supplier compliance to Amazon's safety standards in support of category strategies. They will own the category analytics and reporting, and develop processes to ensure continued supplier compliance.
Key Job Responsibilities:
· Drive supplier compliance to Amazon's safety standards and requirements
· Support Supplier Relationship Management activities as it relates to safety compliance and the contractor risk management program in order to mitigate risk, improve performance, and add value to Amazon
· Build and own the category metrics model based on input from the category team to track and monitor safety performance and compliance to the category strategy
· Develop a deep working relationship and partnership with Procurement, Operations Construction, Ops Engineering, Reliability & Maintenance Engineering, Legal, and Workplace Health & Safety
· Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) the network can use for Contractor Prequalification implementation performance at the network and site levels.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Master’s degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or related.
· Environmental Health & Safety or Occupational Health & Safety experience
· Supplier management or program management experience

Desired profile
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations or related field, or equivalent experience
· 3+ years of experience in a sourcing or supply chain management or equivalent role
· 2+ years of experience in Oracle, MS tool suite and ability to learn proprietary systems
· 2+ years of practiced analytical skills including the ability to distill, synthesize, and draw conclusions on large amounts of data
