Job description

DESCRIPTION

Amazon's Prime Video is a premium on-demand video entertainment service that offers customers the greatest choice in what to watch, from popular Prime Original TV shows (made by Amazon Studios) such as The Grand Tour, Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan and the recent Golden Globe winning The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel to Prime Original Movies like the Oscar-winning Manchester by the Sea and The Salesman. The service differentiates from other video-on-demand services by offering Prime members the opportunity to subscribe to 100+ Amazon Channels, including Discovery, Starz, and Eurosport Player, and hundreds of thousands of additional titles which can be purchased or rented to watch instantly with no extra apps to download or long term contracts. Prime Video is at the forefront of the entertainment industry and growing fast - now available in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide – and we work in a dynamic, and exciting environment where innovating on behalf of our customers is at the heart of everything we do.

Within the Prime Video Commerce team, we are looking for an outstanding Business Intelligence Engineer to help manage our ever growing information needs and support analysis of increasingly complex business questions within the video commerce space. You will be focused on building understanding and measurement of how our teams deliver value to customers and guide decisions around product direction.

You will seek out hidden and valuable correlations between the easily-measurable and the hard-to-quantify, within immense volumes of real-world data. You will formulate quantitative metrics which allow us to track our progress, devise creative measurement and audit solutions which allow us to track those metrics with minimal cost and human effort, and design, build, and maintain the data pipelines, datasets and visualisations which provide the foundation for your work. Your work will influence business, product, and technical direction, steering broader solutions in support of these objectives.

The position offers exceptional opportunities for you to grow your skill set, build your understanding of data science, and really make a difference for our customers and our business by inventing, enhancing and building world class analysis and measurement systems, delivering results, working on exciting and challenging projects.
