Within the Prime Video Commerce team, we are looking for an outstanding Business Intelligence Engineer to help manage our ever growing information needs and support analysis of increasingly complex business questions within the video commerce space. You will be focused on building understanding and measurement of how our teams deliver value to customers and guide decisions around product direction.

You will seek out hidden and valuable correlations between the easily-measurable and the hard-to-quantify, within immense volumes of real-world data. You will formulate quantitative metrics which allow us to track our progress, devise creative measurement and audit solutions which allow us to track those metrics with minimal cost and human effort, and design, build, and maintain the data pipelines, datasets and visualisations which provide the foundation for your work. Your work will influence business, product, and technical direction, steering broader solutions in support of these objectives.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· BA/BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
· Experience using SQL, ETL and databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
· Skills in Excel as well as any data visualisation tools like Quicksight, Tableau or similar BI tools.
· Strong bias for action and "get it done" attitude
· Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
· Ability to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in a clear and concise manner
