Business Intelligence Engineer
Internship Seattle (King) Accounting / Management control
Job description
DESCRIPTION
Amazon’s Global Talent Acquisition team is has grown to a worldwide organization of more than 4,000 recruiters, coordinators, managers, and PM, all serving to solve at scale for our massive headcount growth. At the center of that hiring process is the most important stakeholder: the candidate. To help our recruiting teams, programs, and tools become the most customer-centric on the planet, Amazon deploys a candidate experience survey, Recruiting How’s My Driving (RHMD) after every interview.
The Business Intelligence Engineer, RHMD & Interview Experience will be responsible for the distribution of the RHMD survey, data summarization and visualization, and company-wide analysis. In 2019, the survey was sent to 195,284 phone screen and 219,330 candidates, creating a deep dataset. Each week the BIE manages batch distribution of surveys through a semi-automated connection to the survey platform (Qualtrics), and for the semi-automated e-mail push of feedback summaries to recruiters. We would like to expand the distribution of results to a wider audience to include interviewers and bar raisers, which would require further development of automation processes, including building privacy rules. The BIE manages the reporting dashboard for RHMD results, which is available for the company-wide GTA organization of over 4,000 users. Individual recruiters, recruiting coordinators, and recruiting managers file tickets with the BIE for reporting feature requests, bug fixes, or investigations.
Further, this BIE will begin to explore additional research and data science questions in partnership with our Talent Assessment team. These questions relate to interviewer and interview structure & content, and their effect on candidate experience. By helping to answer these questions at an aggregate level, the BIE will influence interview program design, product enhancements, and interview paradigms across the company.
