North America Supply Chain Execution team is looking for talented Business Intelligence Engineer who will develop planning and execution tools for NA Fulfillment network. As a member of this team, you will have an opportunity to be a thought leader in Amazon Supply Chain and work with some of the best research scientists, data engineers, business intelligence engineers, software developers, technical program managers and business leaders to design Amazon fulfillment network of future.

This position requires superior analytical thinkers, able to quickly approach large ambiguous problems and apply your technical and engineering expertise to rapidly prototype and deliver solutions. This position also requires you to work across a variety of teams. The right candidate is expected have a strong drive for results, good interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. They should be fully capable of understanding complex systems and developing high scale, high availability, distributed systems as well as intuitive user interfaces.
As an Business Intelligence Engineer you will own and execute NA supply chain execution initiatives globally to build scalable, efficient planning and execution tools to provide a great customer experience. You will provide solutions that are highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable Supply chain and transportation org. This includes development, configuration, maintenance, and integration with other Amazon systems.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,Information Technology, MIS, or equivalent.
· 1+ years Supply Chain experience
· 1+ year experience Supply Chain planning.
· End to end knowledge of Supply Chain processes and principles.
· Experience using scripting languages such as R, Ruby, or Python.
· 1+ year experience focused on Linux.
· Intermediate SQL knowledge.
