Job description

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to help build the future of Voice Shopping and lead all Amazon's Choice customer facing aspects. Amazon's Choice is part of the Voice Shopping team where we strive to enable shopping in everyday life. We allow customers to instantly order whatever they need, by simply interacting with their smart devices such as Amazon Echo, Fire TV, and beyond. Our services allow you to shop, anywhere, easily without interrupting what you're doing – to go from “I want” to “It's on the way” in a matter of seconds. Amazon's Choice is an integral part of the voice shopping experience as it recommends one great product from our vast selection when a customer asks for it. This simplifies the shopping experience and delights customers by giving them one result instead of telling them about many over voice. However we don't stop there. Amazon's Choice also helps simplify the experience on Amazon.com by making recommendations visible to millions of customers.

The Business Intelligence Engineer will be a key member of the Org, and work closely with economists, ML scientists, fellow business intelligence and data engineers, Product Managers and engineers. This role requires an individual with excellent statistical and analytical abilities, data engineering skills and importantly an uncanny knack for turning qualitative analysis and observations into data driven insights. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, curious to learn and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
