The F3 US Retail team is searching for a Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) who is passionate about using data to solve some of the most complex supply chain problems on Earth. You will be responsible for working with Retail and Ops stakeholders across procurement, selection, pricing, and supply chain management to design and develop scripts that allow our business to optimize, scale, and automate. In your role, every aspect of the business is your opportunity to use statistics, logic, and scripting to deliver a better service for our customers. You will also have the opportunity to work and learn alongside other BIEs, Business Analysts, Economists, and Software Engineers to develop prototypes that will be scaled globally.

Responsibilities:
· Engage stakeholders in constructive dialogues to convert business problems into logic problems that can be solved with data and scripting
· Design, develop, and implement scalable, automated processes for big data extraction, processing, and analysis
· Convert statistical models into scripting codes that can be used to unlock automation opportunities
· Be a thought leader on new technologies that can help drive business objectives
· Document business requirements and solutions for technical and general business audiences
· Mentor and train teammates on best practices in data extraction/manipulation, automation scripting, and analytics

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Finance, Statistics or a related discipline.
· 3-5 years of years of relevant work experience in business intelligence, analytics, data engineering, market research or related field
· Highly proficient in Python for topics such as data extraction/ manipulation, statistical analysis/modeling, and automation
· Highly proficient using ETL manager to write and optimize SQL queries in a business environment
· Experience with processing dirty, large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources
· Experience gathering/documenting business requirements
