If you are passionate about developing business metrics and insights from complex datasets, this role is for you. To be successful in this role, you must be able to turn ambiguous business questions into clearly defined problems, develop quantifiable metrics, and implement Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) processes to support all data needs across the organization. The candidate will also have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Last but not least, you love building insightful reports and beautiful data visualizations, and want to automate everything you have built.

While we are looking for a business intelligence engineer, we will also consider data engineers that demonstrate strong analysis and reporting skills.

We want to see candidates with supply chain integration based systems and pricing/costing analysis skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, related technical field
· 2+ years of relevant work experience in analytics, data engineering, business intelligence or related field
. Supply chain integration based systems along with pricing/costing analysis skills
· Strong communication and presentation skills necessary to build effective working relationships and positively influence decision making
· Strong business acumen
· Familiarity with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
· Advanced knowledge and expertise with SQL, Linux, Oracle and OLAP and data warehousing concepts.
· Experience in performing regression analysis and building classification models using machine learning algorithms
· Experience in voice recognition and information retrieval analytics
· Coding proficiency Python and/or R
· Experience with AWS technologies including Redshift, RDS, S3, EMR

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
· Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
· Experience in SQL
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or equivalent work experience
· 2+ years of relevant work experience in analytics, data engineering, business intelligence or related field
· Experience using, writing and optimizing SQL queries in a business environment
· Knowledge of data warehouse technical architecture, infrastructure components, ETL and reporting/analytic tools and environments
· Experience in business intelligence software (Tableau, Qlikview, MicroStrategy) and ETL software
