It is the largest e-commerce marketplace in USA (consists of a retail business and third party marketplace), is the largest provider of cloud infrastructure services and produces consumer electronics (Kindle e-book, Fire, etc.). The company was founded in 1994, began as an online book store and expanded to other categories and businesses over 20 years across 10+ countries. Amazon in India: Amazon launched its first offering for Indian customers in Feb, 2012 with Junglee.com aggregating millions of offers (SKUs) from 1,000+ ecommerce sites providing product and price discovery to Indian customers. Amazon.in, the flagship marketplace, was launched in June, 2013 with books – over a period of 6 months post launch, multiple product categories were added to improve available selection for customers. Today, Amazon India operates at high speed in an exciting and rapidly changing Indian e-commerce landscape. It is a hotbed of creative ideas and constant innovation.

New Business Initiative: We are seeding a new business in our marketplace (Amazon.in). The objective of this business is to complete and improve the current buying experience for customers purchasing products on Amazon.in, extend deeper into the consumption (increase transaction frequency) with the existing customer and participate in a profitable segment. We believe the market we are targeting is large, fragmented where we can create value for customers through technology and operational excellence.

Role and Responsibilities:
· Identifying, acquiring and onboarding high quality sellers on the platform
· Managing the seller relationship by championing the seller's needs at Amazon. Build strong communication channels at all levels of the seller's organization, set proper expectations, provide clear status communications, and manage towards a growth plan
· Managing and driving the growth of the seller's business: Build and execute on a strategic account plan that delivers on key business opportunities for the seller and Amazon
· Managing key improvement initiatives and projects: Drive new product launches and relationship extensions by partnering with the business teams.
· Work with sellers to improve operational aspects of their business in providing a great consumer experience and manage fulfilment experience
· Analyzing the business: Conduct deep dive analysis and provide routine executive-level reporting on the seller's current business and future opportunities. Publish recommendations and action plans based on data.
· Develop process to scale acquisition and management of sellers beyond the top sellers into the unorganized segment
· Providing thought leadership around planning, roadmaps and execution

Desired profile

Basic Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree
· 3+ years of experience in sales or account management

Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with external customer interaction.
· Proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage the business “by the numbers”. Must be metrics-driven.
· Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly. Demonstrated active listening skills, highly consultative and solutions-oriented.
· Deep understanding of and passion for e-commerce desired
· Experience with e-commerce, services, advertising, or media would be an advantage
· Prior experience influencing C-level executives is highly desirable.
· Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
· MBA preferred.
