DESCRIPTION

The Global Specialty Fulfillment (GSF) team is seeking an exemplary Business Analyst to join a group of analysts and engineers to support and grow Central Operations, an initiative to shape the future of Amazon operations. The ideal candidate will draw upon advanced analytical, problem solving skills, and a passion for building visualization and analytics towards automated operational management. Successful members of this team collaborate effectively with internal end-users, cross-functional stakeholders and technical teams to provide detailed visibility into operational processes, and to turn data into directions for the business. The complexity of research and skills for a Business Analyst is well beyond basic data entry and extraction. It involves design and development of automated tools, sophisticated analytical model and intuitive visualization.

The following provides some detail of the job duties and responsibilities.

- Data extraction, manipulation and production from database tables (SQL, Data Warehouse)
- Automation and tool development using Excel and/or programming language
- Design and implementation of analytical model
- Development of data visualization using commercial suites

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- BS degree in analytical field and 3+ years of industry experience in an analytical role or an MS degree with 1 year's experience or 2 years' related Amazon experience.
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience with Excel and VBA
- Experience with data visualization using commercial products such as Tableau
