Alexa is Amazon’s groundbreaking virtual assistant designed for voice interactions. We believe voice is the most natural interface for interacting with technology across many domains. We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team located in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA. In this highly visible role, you will use reports to analyze data, make sense of the results and be able to explain what it all means to key stakeholders across regions and content areas.

The successful candidate will have experience in machine learning, and analysis of large, complex datasets. The candidate gets excited about explaining abstract technical concepts to a general business audience. The candidate will need to be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and able to think big while paying careful attention to detail. Responsibilities include:
· Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive stakeholder engagement.
· Develop, implement, and automate processes to collect and manage performance data from multiple sources.
· Present anomalies in operational data patterns and follow-up analysis results at regular stakeholders' meetings.
· Define requirements, gather feedback, and provide inputs on existing and new products and services.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, or other quantitative field.
· 3+ years of working experience in analytics, data engineering, business intelligence, market research or related field or 1+ years of experience working as an Amazon Business Analyst.
