The AWS Infrastructure Talent Acquisition team is looking for a customer focused, dynamic, diversity recruiter to help drive and grow our diverse talent attraction strategy. This individual recruiter will focus on top of funnel activities that will deliver incremental impact while also serving as a thought leader or SME to inform the broader sourcing community and business leaders on how to attract and hire diverse talent into the AWS Infrastructure organization. You will design and implement candidate attraction strategies that enable these teams to increase the volume of diverse talent hired into the organizations, and will serve as a mentor to other technical recruiters to support their growth and effectiveness in the diversity space. You will need to partner with other diversity partners across the broader AWS team and other recruiters to build out diverse applicant pools. You will need to understand the needs of hiring managers to attract diverse candidates via grassroots efforts, using ads, hosting and participating in various events.
Your core responsibilities will include:
· Build framework and support to maintain an ongoing candidate pipeline to support hiring goals.
· Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management; conduct casual interviews with candidate to encourage their application.
· Articulate in writing a sourcing plan with deliverable, timelines, and a formal tracking process to be leveraged across the broader recruiting community.
· Partner with Tech Recruiters and hiring teams to help shape the direction of our tech diversity strategy by launching innovations, surfacing trends, and driving impactful initiatives.
· Partner with Principal Recruiters to drive programmatic process/research efforts to increase sourcing impact more broadly across the team.
· Build effective sourcing and assessment approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of return on investment.
· Recommend ideas and strategies that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing new recruiting processes and fine tuning standard processes that fit within Amazon's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer.
· Partner with Market Intelligence teams to drive a robust talent attraction strategy that aligns with the multiyear growth objectives of the Infrastructure business.
Desired profile
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· 5+ years of tech recruiting experience
· 3+ years of 'full cycle' or 'whole desk' recruiting experience
· Experience sourcing candidates, including the use of Boolean Strings and other sourcing strategies to capture passive tech talent
· 2+ years of project/program management experience
· Proficiency with MS Office- including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
