AWS Security Program Manager - China Regions

As an AWS Security team member, you will help secure that environment for our customers while working on cutting edge security products for a variety of platforms and technologies, all operating at massive scale.

AWS is seeking an independent, passionate, and deeply experienced professional to help lead the overall security direction of our China based AWS regions. This role will provide thought leadership, portfolio management and technical guidance for the security direction of our technical environment and operations in China. This guidance will involve areas of customer support, access management, secure network configurations, and the security around tools used to support both operations and management of the China regions. The ideal candidate should be a technically experienced and innovative security professional who has the ability to handle a wide range of security requirements and can translate those requirements into operational processes and procedures for cloud computing and is able to communicate these across technical teams and at executive levels.

The position, as part of the AWS Security team, will also be responsible for coordinating across all aspects of our security needs within China to highlight areas of interest, flag opportunities to stronger security practices, and facilitating discussions with our leadership to address our security direction. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be and remain connected with industry trends and security events to aid in the development of security solutions and practices.
- Gain and maintain a deep understanding of China security laws and regulations to help ensure AWS remains compliant.
- Work directly with service and support teams to help address security direction and processes required for China-based operations.
- Evaluate complex business and technical requirements and communicate inherent security risks and solutions to technical and non-technical business owners.
- Establish consistence project management processes, standards and guidelines in the execution of program wide security efforts. Engage AWS global teams as needed with a focus on results.
- Translate security and technical requirements into business requirements and present to the relevant leadership of service teams.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or other related fields
- Minimum 8-years of information security or related experience
- Minimum 5 years o project leadership experience
- Three plus years expereince and a clear understanding of cloud computing services/deployment architecture
