We are looking for a passionate, innovative, results oriented program manager. AWS Security is responsible for driving innovative enhancements that raise the bar for how AWS employees interact with resources, systems, and data. The successful candidate is one who loves managing programs and is committed to formulating and implementing wide-ranging process improvements. You are passionate about the security of the cloud and you want to solve real business problems. You possess strong communication skills, can operate independently, and have a consistent track record of delivery. You have an understanding of basic technical concepts, and possess a broad understanding of AWS services. You are detail-oriented, and drive towards improved performance while advocating for customer needs.
As a PM in AWS Security you will be responsible for a set of long-term security outcomes. Your day to day job responsibilities will include:
· Working on organizational reporting, analyzing metrics, and providing this reporting to team leadership on a regular basis
· Make recommendations and decisions that impact schedules, as well as an ability to re-shuffle priorities and juggle competing interests on a near-daily basis
· Tracking and driving multiple projects to completion at the same time.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Have a clear understanding of cloud computing services/deployment architecture
· Demonstrated experience and success at leading cross functional programs and proven ability to influence and lead without direct management authority
· Demonstrate innovative security approaches in non-traditional IT environments
· Ability to communicate effectively across a multitude of platforms with remote team members, global teams and stakeholders at multiple levels within the organization
· Have experience generating automated metrics to measure service and program effectiveness and consistency
· Proven ability to manage ambiguity, and a preparedness to take on what is necessary to get things done
· Have experience driving security programs across large diverse organizations
· Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role

Desired profile
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· 3+ years of experience in program administration skills – this includes organization, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, time management, and delivering results
· Experience in a team environment on multiple projects with changing priorities
· Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workloads, and work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
· Aptitude for technology, able to learn new tools quickly
· Able to synthesize data and analytics to formulate sound program objectives and goals
