Marketing Intern Job Description
Role Overview:
Based in Melbourne, the APAC Training and Certification Marketing intern will work with the APAC Training & Certification marketing team on a series of projects for 2017. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an incredibly fast growing business, which will be testing and innovating a series of Marketing Programs in 2017. The ideal candidate will have creative marketing ideas, a genuine interest in technology and marketing innovation and should be detail-oriented and organized, capable of handling multiple projects at once.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the ongoing development of training and certification involvement in the APAC ‘Summit' Event Series. This project will include the assistance in the execution of 12 events across APAC, targeting from 1000 - 5000 attendees per event. Key focus areas in 2017 include the resourcing and coordination of the training and certification booth, certification lounges, bootcamps and follow up certification event activities.
2. MRC Training and Certification integration – Training and Certification MRC representatives are being piloted in China to follow up training and certification leads. We plan to introduce reps into other regions in APAC. The marketing intern will be responsible for providing customer emails and brochures to the MRC team, and working with them to refine processes depending upon pilot results.
3. Marketing Calendar – the Marketing intern will manage the APAC marketing calendar, including weekly updates to event numbers and campaign results.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience
· Proven understanding of the role of Marketing and the ‘Business 2 Business' marketing mix in an Enterprise or Start Up environment – both digital and traditional programs
· Previous experience in leading projects in a Marketing Intern, Coordinator or Associate role
