DESCRIPTION

The Amazon Vision Operations Center (AVOC) currently handles remote resolution of technologies that employ machine learning. Our strategy is to have a model for selected portions of a task that require a more in depth review. The AVOC team is looking for skilled associates to work with a new team to prototype new technologies in Nashville, TN. As a SME on this team, you will work with program managers to bring out UI feedback on the tool, understand the automation processes end to end and proactively identify process improvement opportunities. You will be a part of group discussions and feedback sessions to help flesh out the process, streamline process gaps and make a more usable tool for operational end users.

Key Job Responsibilities:
· Watch image/video of an event, understand it thoroughly, and make best use of human judgement and available resources to resolve it
· Perform labeling/annotation tasks with accuracy, speed, and efficiency
· Understand performance metrics and process requirements to drive business results in live environment
· Meet pre-determined and assigned productivity targets and quality standards with aggressive deadlines
· Be proactive in addressing issues and problems
· Work in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment
· Understand and adhere to SOPs and other Amazon policies
· Systematically escalate problems or variance in the information to the relevant owners / teams / managers, according to processes and standard ·
· Contribute to process improvements to reduce handling time, improving the quality of work and shall also contribute to improve the software tool that they shall be using
· Support several projects at one time, and to accept re-prioritization as necessary

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· 2+ years experience in Customer Service and/or Back-Office environments
· Excellent organizational skills and very detail-oriented
· Possess excellent communication (both verbal and written) and organizational skills, and is very detail-oriented
· Experience in coaching and/or mentoring, peer development
· Bachelor’s degree (in progress or completed) or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field (Operations, Manufacturing, Logistics, Shared Service Center or Back-office)
