We are looking for a smart, results-oriented Associate - Content Editor to be a part of growing our business. Amazon.in beauty content manager will ensure a smoother purchase decision making process by creating visually appealing imagery, educating customers and improving engagement with the category using different channels. This role is based in Bangalore.

As a Associate - Content Editor you will ensure that customer experience and expectations are set and met to a high standard. The Content writer will be responsible for creating engaging content which is customer friendly, evergreen, topical and trendy. They would perform all levels of edit, with a strong emphasis on developmental editing. They will have to stage the content, including some light graphics work, and publish it. Create social media posts to promote the content. They would be responsible for curating the various category stores, editorial stores, brand stores, merchandizing stores, event stores to ensure that good quality & fresh selection is shown to the customer. They would be responsible for ensuring that there is freshness in our curation & presentation to the customer. They would work closely with the content manager to plan blogger engagements around new launches, making social media creatives and writing short copies. They would work closely with the vendor managers, site merchandizers, editorial team to understand the stores that we want to display to our customers & then help populate that store for us by choosing the right merchandize. They would also be responsible for maintaining a high bar of quality (data quality/customer reviews/good image quality) in the category, brand, editorial, merchandizing and event stores. They would be responsible for diving deep into the selection for each category & help come up with trends, stores & callouts. · They will be running and analyzing proof of performance reports for the content they create. Their work will involve learning Merchandising tools and widgets. They will support the creation of emails, category pages, brand stores, campaigns, and develop and manage free search improvement projects. They will synthesize and analyze relevant content/traffic metrics.They would analyze content, various stores & their curation strategy along with site metrics to ensure that the curation process is improved for the category

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, able to take direction, and work well with multiple teams. The ideal candidate will be innovative and internally motivated and have strong interest in fashion & online merchandising.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 2 years of professional writing experience
· Proven ability to work independently or in ambiguous circumstances
· Good judgment and open communication
· Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Professional Writing, Technical Writing, or similar field is essential
· Demonstrable experience creating content for online medium and social media.
· Excellent writing and editing skills
· Design capabilities
